This programme is a starting point for those interested in a career in science and/or engineering. This programme provides a pathway for entry into higher level science programmes, or to the Bachelor of Engineering Technology, for those students who don't already meet the academic entry requirements. Study will involve a compulsory ‘Professional Skills in Applied Science 2' module, and modules from one of the two contexts - Applied Science or Engineering. If students are currently working in the fields of food production or environment management, this qualification will support and enhance their knowledge in these areas.
