The A Level entry requirements for this course are:
BBC
including Chemistry
International Baccalaureate , 31, 5 in Higher Level Chemistry
BTEC , DDM in Science, including specific Chemistry units
Scottish Highers plus 1 Advanced Higher , BBBBB plus B in Chemistry
Welsh Baccalaureate plus 2 A Levels , B plus BC, including Chemistry
Access to HE Diploma , 60 credits overall in a relevant subject with 45 at level 3 including 15 at Distinction and 30 at Merit. Level 3 units must cover sufficient Chemistry. Applicants are considered individually.
Mature students - explore other routes for mature students
English language requirements ,
You must demonstrate that your English is good enough for you to successfully complete your course. For this course we require: GCSE English Language at grade 4/C, IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or an alternative acceptable English language qualification
, toefl ibt - Overall score of 88 with a minimum of 19 in Listening, 20 in Reading, 22 in Speaking and 19 in Writing
We do not accept the TOEFL paper-based test, or MyBest scores

If you don't have the usual scientific or mathematical background for our degrees, a foundation year is for you. Your first year will be spent improving your knowledge and skills, so you're at the right level to move to a degree. Your study will include modules in chemistry, physics and mathematics. When you've completed the foundation year, you can enter the first year of any of our chemistry degree programmes.
