Geography is unique in integrating the social sciences with the natural sciences. It's about understanding the earth's peoples and their impact, as well as its landscapes, places and environments. Geographers play a key role in developing and managing the response to challenges that are on the news on a daily basis - from globalisation and urbanisation, to terrorism and climate change.
