Atmospheric environments examines the critical climate and atmospheric issues of today and tomorrow – issues such as climate change, urban air quality, atmospheric pollution, extreme weather events, the increasing frequency and severity of droughts, floods and tropical cyclones, and the interactions between the atmosphere and human society. In this major, you'll develop a deep understanding of atmospheric processes, and you'll gain practical skills to creatively evaluate and contend with the temporal and spatial scales of current atmospheric issues.
