The University of Texas at Austin has earned an international reputation for excellence in research and teaching in the plant sciences. Current research areas are diverse and across the breadth of plant sciences. The faculty supervise graduate students in M.A. and Ph.D. degree plans. The Graduate Program in Plant Biology supports graduate students with grants and assistantships in addition to the resources generally available in the Departments of the College of Natural Science.
