The Newark College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Health Professions (SHP) offer a joint Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Imaging Sciences. Medical Imaging Sciences majors complete their prerequisite science and math courses at the Newark College of Arts and Sciences. They apply to the SHP in January for admission to one of four programs: Cardiac Sonography, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine, or Vascular Sonography.
