The Wildlife Biology concentration is designed to train students in the biology, ecology, and management of wildlife populations, with an emphasis on habitat management and population management. This concentration provides students with opportunities for in-field experiences and focuses on applied techniques for managing wildlife, and their associated habitats, and application of basic and applied wildlife management techniques. Graduates from this concentration often work as wildlife biologists for state and federal agencies, private ranches, and other non-governmental organizations.
