The biology department offers a concentration within the biology major for students with interest in bacteriology, virology, immunology, parasitology and infectious disease. Students choosing a concentration in microbiology must meet all the requirements for the biology major, including the following specific requirements.<br>The department offers four-year B.A. and B.S. degree programs in biology. Requirements for the B.A. degree are met by adding the completion of an intermediate level foreign language and three credit hours in philosophy.
