Discoveries in biochemistry have been a primary catalyst for many of the advances in modern medicine, pharmacology, toxicology, and in the booming field of biotechnology. Carleton University offers a Collaborative Specialization in Biochemistry to current or incoming Master's and PhD students who are registered in one of the two participating programs (Biology, Chemistry). You can pursue a PhD in biology or also specialize in chemical or environmental toxicology.
