The B.S. degree in Biology is designed to build a broad foundational understanding across the biological sciences, create relevant competencies in scientific practices and laboratory skills, and develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to address current scientific issues.The degree combines a strong core of foundational biology courses coupled with electives so as to provide flexibility for students into construct a degree that works for their particular fields of interest within the biological sciences.
