The M.S. in Biological Science is a research-based thesis program that provides students with opportunities to develop and complete research projects and experiences to enhance advancement and career opportunities in biology. The M.A. in Biological Science is a coursework (nonthesis) program with a comprehensive examination as the culminating experience. Both the M.S. and the M.A. programs require 45 quarter units of coursework.
