An undergraduate degree in a biological science with a GPA3.0 in undergraduate Biology courses intended for majors, or
A GPA3.0 in coursework comparable to that intended for upper division Biology majors (e.g. Genetics, Evolutionary Biology and Cell Biology), or
For applicants who do not meet the above criteria, the prospective advisor may request an online interview between the applicant and Biology Graduate Committee.
Although the General Graduate Record Examination is not required, students who believe that their GRE scores will help their application are free to submit them. International students who have been admitted from countries with grading systems different than ours have often benefited from submission of General GRE scores.

Be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended
Have satisfied one of the following conditions:
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in all undergraduate units
Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the last 60 semester/90 quarter units from all post-secondary institutions
Hold an acceptable post-baccalaureate degree earned at a regionally accredited institution and:
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in all units attempted as an undergraduate, or
Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the last 60 semester/90 quarter units attempted from all post-secondary institutions attended.
All OFFICIAL transcripts for any college or university courses you have completed in original language of issue. Your records must include official verification of degree completion.
