The graduate certificate program Epidemiology and 15-credit graduate certificate program Biostatistics and Epidemiology focus on the development of the qualitative and quantitative knowledge and skills to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data associated with epidemiological investigations, health surveys, injury and illness recognition, and human exposure assessments. Note: The combined certificate in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, compared to the Epidemiology certificate, provides learners with an expanded scope and depth of quantitative knowledge and skills. The certificate pursued should be based on an individual's interest, planned application, and prior education and training completed. 12 credit hours
