Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree in Biology or a related field from an accredited college or university within the country, or the equivalent from a foreign university to be considered for admission. GRE scores cannot be more than 5 years old. Average GRE scores for admitted MS students are 61st Percentile—Verbal and 55th Percentile—Quantitative. Average GRE scores for admitted PhD (IDPBS) students are Verbal 67th Percentile, and Quantitative 60th Percentile. GPA of at least 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) for Master's Programs. We prefer TOEFL scores of at least 100 (no less than 20 per section) for the IBT exam, 550 for the paper-based exam, or 213 for the computer-based exam, and a minimum IELTS score is of 6.5.

课程简介
The MS Molecular Biology and Biotechnology program trains students for entry into doctoral level programs in biology and the health sciences, but the coursework is more heavily grounded in practical laboratory coursework emphasizing skills relevant to the biotechnology industry. These courses include those that focus on genetic engineering, protein biochemistry, cell culture technology, transgenic technology and bioinformatics/genomics. Students are provided with guidance concerning employment opportunities in the biotechnology industry and where possible contacts are created for them through industry liaisons, which include a network of former graduates.
