Biology is a broad natural science that encompasses other niche areas such as genetics, biochemistry, and microbiology. Those who aspire to work in medicine go on to complete a master’s or doctorate degree, while still other biology graduates find enjoyable work in environmental science, biotechnology, laboratory research, medical technology, food production and nutrition, and education.
