CMBP Faculty Research focuses on cellular processes in a variety of contexts including, neuronal homeostasis, immunobiology, cancer and host:pathogen interactions. Members of the group coalesce around a common interest in cellular organization, regulation and communication. They perform both basic and collaborative clinical research. CMBP research efforts result in a deeper appreciation for how cells function and communicate, as well as translational enterprises that advance the Precision Medicine Initiative launched by the National Institutes of Health.
