The undergraduate program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry connects the ever-growing important interface between biology and chemistry. Training emphasizing advanced experimental and theoretical principles is provided in both the biological and chemical sciences, as a foundation for a variety of career paths, including further training in biology, chemistry or biochemistry, molecular biology, and medical or dental school. Students successfully completing the biochemistry curriculum may have their degrees certified by the American Chemical Society.
