With world populations becoming increasingly urbanized, many conflicts arise between natural and urban environments. The Urban Ecologies certificate is designed to help you learn how these conflicts emerge, are represented and can be addressed.<br><br>The theoretical and practical knowledge gained will allow you to put your degree to work helping urban and natural environments exist together in harmony. It will prepare you for involvement in urban ecological issues and for a wide variety of careers focusing on how ecology exists and is shaped in cities - perhaps as urban planners, field ecologists, landscape architects or educators.<br><br>The Urban Ecologies certificate program combines interdisciplinary studies with practical experience.
