Green technology challenges include new means of generating and evaluating energy and energy efficiency, environmentally friendly and energy-efficient buildings/building materials, chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate use and generation of hazardous substances, energy efficient manufacturing processes, and green nanotechnology.
