The English Certificate Program is for all students who need to improve their English language skillsThe program is designed to prepare students for academic success in college and university and to provide them the skills to communicate within English environments. Many international students first enter the English Certificate Program before going on to the High School or University Transfer Program. Courses offered range in levels from beginner to university preparation. Students are required to take writing and reading in each level. At the Intermediate and Advanced levels, students have four electives from which they can choose two. These electives integrate all four skills (writing, reading, listening, and speaking) and focus on specific topics to allow students to use the skills they are learning.
