At UTSA, you can earn an English degree with an optional concentration in either Professional Writing, Creative Writing, or English Language Arts and Reading. Concentrations are declared after youve been admitted and have met with your academic advisor. In this program, youll take liberal arts and humanities courses to cover a broad range of topics like American and British literature, linguistics, rhetoric, writing, cross-cultural ethnic studies, gender studies, and more. A degree in English will prepare you for careers as a writer, editor, high school teacher, public relations specialist, or serve as a stepping stone to further your education in graduate school.<br>UTSA is all about your success.
