IELTS is required by a growing number of Australian universities to show student’s English levels prior entering to degree programs. The course aims to familiarise students with the test types and to help them acquire test-taking skills when undertaking the IELTS exam. It aims to increase student’s IELTS scores by 1 or 2 grades so they can meet the English proficiency requirement of Diploma, Advanced Diploma courses, and any other purposes.<br><br>The class tasks include essay writing, effective reading comprehension via skimming and scanning, listening for gist or specific information, expanding lexis for effective communication.
