GAS is a high-level academic skills course that provides an introduction to the expectations and values of academic culture in an Australian university. Entry requirements: To be eligible for the GAS course, you need an undergraduate or postgraduate unconditionalfirm offer from an Australian university and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent. What will I learn Develop skills related to academic discussions, university assignment papers, creativity and innovation, critical thinking and collaboration; Participate in lectures, tutorials and group activities, including a project assignment that involves exploring Sydney’s suburbs; Develop digital competencies necessary for university success, such as collaboration on discussion boards, creation of blogs and video materials, and use of eLearning platforms for project proposals; Develop skills in self-reflection, self-assessment and autonomous learning.
