Improve your English oral and written skills for specific programs at Deakin, from nursing and teaching to the IELTS examination. DUELI offers English for Specific Purposes programs including IELTS Preparation, Introductory Academic Preparation (IAP), English for Nursing and English for Teaching.<br><br>IAP<br>Each week of the IAP program focuses on a range of tasks and academic themes. The academic preparation is supported by an orientation and ongoing support delivered by Deakin University’s International Student Advisors (ISAs). The ISA’s provide an individual and group support program that helps with accommodation, personal welfare transition to Australia and transition to an Australia academic environment. Students will undertake 20 hours face to face tuition each week with 5 hours a week allocated for Independent Learning and welfare support.
