Who is this course for Choose Cambridge English: B1 Preliminary (PET) if you: Have Intermediate English skills; or completed Cambridge English: A2 Key (KET) Want a more intensive alternative to General English Want a globally recognised measure of English proficiency for employment, immigration or tertiary study purposes You will learn A wider-range of English vocabulary To improve your pronunciation How and when to use different verb tenses To communicate effectively in a range of situations To write well-structured, accurate and easy-to-understand letters To understand ‘longer listenings’ – such as TV shows, lectures and videos Upon completion of the Cambridge English: B1 Preliminary (PET), you’ll have the confidence to progress to even higher-level Cambridge exams such as Cambridge English: B2 First (FCE) and Cambridge English: C1 Advanced (CAE) Entry Requirements IELTS 5.0 or equivalent; or Greenwich College Placement Test. Course Commencement Classes commence every 12 weeks.
