The curriculum at Avalon College is designed to meet the needs of our students. In teaching the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, our classes have a special focus on the range of text types that are extensively used in Australian schools. Our broad curriculum integrates teaching of English for mathematics, science, humanities, media and physical education. <br>At Avalon College we support our students as they adjust to the different classroom environment of an Australian school. Our students develop confidence in skills essential for success in Western education such as group work, expressing opinions, promoting independent thinking and actively contributing to class discussions. Avalon College is Australia's first fully residential English language centre. Its mission is to provide quality English language education and school preparation for primary and secondary age students.
