学术英语（EAP）使学生为在TAFE进修或在大学攻读本科和研究生做好准备。EAP提供三个级别的课程，学生可以在提高英语水平的同时获得在大学学习的实践经验。SCU College EAP建立在现有的英语阅读，写作，口语和听力能力之上。这些部门还通过培养学生的学术技能为学生做好大学学习的准备，例如：研究，参考，使用学习管理系统，使用窃检测软件，记录笔记并进行演示。
Set yourself up for success at Southern Cross University with our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program. EAP will build on your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. You will also improve your academic and digital literacy practices, including researching, referencing, note-taking, using the Southern Cross University Learning Management System, and giving presentations.<br>Our intensive EAP program runs three times a year, just before university classes begin. Individual students’ EAP pathway lengths vary, depending on the number of weeks they require to enter their university course.
