If you are looking to develop fluency, target core skills, and truly experience your destination through its language, this dynamic course is your gateway to practical use of English. This Special Focus Programme combines 20 lessons of General English with 10 lessons focused on language study inspired by your destination, for a complete intensive experience that is tailored to you and your personal reasons for learning. Spend one lesson each week outside of the classroom with classmates, learning English and getting to know the local area. There are plenty of social activities to help you make the most of your time in Cambridge: from relaxing visits to the idyllic Botanic Gardens, to punting down the River Cam, tours of King's College or trips to London, the nation's capital city. We also offer Academic Extras to maximise your practice time, with activities including lectures, a pronunciation clinic, conversation class, and the opportunity to get guidance on job searching in the UK.
