Applicants must obtain a minimum of 5O6/H7, including a language. A minimum of O6/H7 in Maths
A-Levels: Applicants must obtain four GCSE passes at grade C to include Maths and English plus one pass at A-level.
FETAC Applicants: Minimum entry requirements for graduates of FETAC Level 5 awards is a full FETAC award. A full FETAC award normally contains 8 modules. A record of achievement does not meet these minimum entry standards. Further details can be obtained from the Admissions Office.
For EU or Non EU applicants whose first language is not English an additional requirement is to have achieved a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent to qualify for admission to Ordinary Degrees (Level 7 programmes).

The Certificate in Business & English Language ensures international students make a successful transition from overseas education to higher level education in Ireland. The programme prepares students for the language, academic and cultural skills demanded in business education. This programme is accredited by Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) - formerly Higher Education Training and Awards Council (HETAC), a statutory body of the Irish Department of Education. This certificate is a third-level qualification. It is recognised as level 6 in the National Framework of Awards which is linked to the European Credit Transfer System.
