Who is the IH Sydney TESOL designed for Non-native (Upper Intermediate and above) speakers who want to enter the English language teaching profession; Those who have no teaching experience; Experienced teachers who want to further develop their communicative teaching skills through the strong focus on practical teaching; Overseas teachers with experience who want to formalize their skills to teach in Australia; Anyone interested in being paid to travel and work overseas teaching English. Entry Criteria: Must be at least 18 years of age on entry to the course. Minimum English language and literacy levels. Prospective students must produce evidence of one of the following: English level test score of GeneralAcademic IELTS 5.5; PTE 43; TOEFL 65; Cambridge FCE (CEFR B2) with Grade B; TOEIC 700 plus Speaking Test. Students with official English level test scores will also have to take a short telephone or in-school interview. Prospective students without an official level test score have to be assessed prior to their enrolment. This can be done on campus or onlinephone.
