University undergraduate degree with a minimum of 75% or (B+] overall average. International
applicants must provide documentation of language proficiency as per Algoma University’s current language requirements.

Applicants for this program must not have a post-graduate credential in the same or closely related field.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
The graduate certificate requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Health Science requires a minimum 60% cumulative average for all courses required for the certificate.

Language Requirements: IELTS of 6.0 Overall with a minimum of 6.0 on all individual bands.

The two-semester (8-month) program is a multidisciplinary program that provides students with a wide variety of course options related to the field of Health Sciences. The certificate approaches the topic of Health Sciences from the viewpoint of multiple disciplines (Biology, Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology) and allows students to customize the certificate to their particular career goals and interests.
