The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Science is the undergraduate pathway for ultimate entry into the DPT program at the University of Hartford. The health science program is a bachelor's degree curriculum that may be pursued on a full-time basis and may be accelerated to a 3-year completion after the freshman year. It is designed to prepare you for professional or graduate study in physical therapy. Individuals may enter the program as freshmen or as transfer students on a space-available basis. Our goal is to graduate competent, ethical, and autonomous physical therapists who value practice, research, and lifelong learning. Our program provides a solid educational basis that allows our graduates to excel, whether they choose career pathways in clinical practice, education, or research.
