Within TROY's applied health science program, youll have the opportunity to focus on four areas of knowledge and skill. The core of the programbased within the study of nursingwill create a firm foundation for any future health-related field you choose to enter. You may also choose to learn and explore within the applied health science program's three other concentrations in the areas of communication, nutrition and humanities to further develop your area of interest in the medical profession. An additional option, as you work your way through the program, will be to pursue a degree in nursing by applying to the nursing school with the proper GPA and required course completion.<br>Led by skilled and knowledgeable faculty members, your course work within all four areas of study will ready you for a career focused on people's healthwhether you teach in an agency, work in an office or serve the public in hospitals and clinics.
