You know how good nutrition can make a difference in one person's health-now imagine impacting the nutrition of an entire population. We can help you make a career out of improving the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities, locally and globally.<br><br>To complete this program, you'll first need to apply for acceptance to each degree separately. (Keep in mind, when applying for our nutrition sciences program, you'll want to make sure you have a bachelor's in nutrition from a dietetics program accredited by Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.) Once you're accepted into both programs, you'll complete 24 hours of M.P.H. core courses, as well as six hours of a concentration that fits with your goals. Your choices are environmental health science, epidemiology, health behavior, or health care organization and policy. You can also opt to focus on a combination (general M.P.H). You'll also find that we have designed our M.S. in Nutrition program to fit your needs. For instance, you'll have the option of completing both degrees on campus, online, or a blend of the two. Plus, we'll allow you to apply 12 credit hours from your nutrition curriculum toward your M.P.H. Oh, and best of all, as you complete your M.S. coursework, you'll complete a real-world clinical experience so you'll have an edge when you hit the job market.
