The Global Public HealthNutrition and Dietetics combined undergraduate major prepares you to apply current knowledge, policy, and research about food and nutrition toward the improvement of the health of populations locally and around the world. This major focuses on the role of food, nutrition, and health in society. As a student pursuing this degree, you will study a variety of topics such as food production, technology, epidemiology, diet assessment, health policy, and nutrition counseling, in addition to a foundational core of liberal arts courses in writing and social science. Working closely with an advisor, you’ll round out your course of study with a mix of electives that complement your individual interests and desired career path. The combined Global Public HealthNutrition and Dietetics degree also includes an internship component, where you will have the opportunity to apply course concepts to real-world scenarios and build professional relationships in the field.
