The Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy offers a comprehensive and rigorous graduate program in medicinal chemistry leading to M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Students are only admitted to the Ph.D. program. Medicinal Chemistry is focused on the discovery and development of biologically active agents with potential therapeutic application.
