Official examination results (if taken) from the examining board (i.e., International Baccalaureate, General Certificate of Education, Caribbean Examinations Council, West African Examinations Council).
SAT or ACT scores are not required for applicants from English-speaking countries*, from students who have completed their entire high school education (four years) in the United States, from students who submit an English Language proficiency test score, or from students requesting to be reviewed for Conditional Admission.

As the healthcare industry expands its use of technology to improve efficiency and quality in delivering patient information, the demand for healthcare information technology specialists is surging.<br>The Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts that employment in the healthcare sector comprising nearly one-sixth of the U.S. economy will increase by 20 percent over the next eight years. Demand will be strongest in hospitals, medical offices, insurance, and technology consulting firms.<br><br>Healthcare informatics is defined as the knowledge, skills, and tools that enable information to be collected, managed, used, and shared to support the delivery of healthcare services and promote health. Combining computer science and healthcare expertise, informaticians organize electronic medical record systems, create and work with healthcare information management software such as clinical decision support systems, pharmacy systems, and radiology systems.<br><br>You can prepare for these opportunities through the 120-credit Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Informatics at St. John's.
