Gannon's business administration program prepares you for exciting leadership and management roles across any industry and business. You'll develop skills that withstand the ever-changing nature of business, gain knowledge in all functional areas of business, and learn in an entrepreneurial environment that blends classroom learning with real-world experiences. You'll also tailor your academic experience by choosing two concentrations that will lead you to dynamic career opportunities.<br><br>Gannon's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (BSBA) is accredited by ACBSP with the following concentrations - Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Healthcare Management, International Management, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Risk Management and Insurance, Sport Management and Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. In AY24-25, the BSBA degree along with all concentrations, will be phased out in lieu of a BS degree with majors.<br><br>With expected employment growth of 13%, our graduates are well prepared to begin their career in professional communications settings such as community-based agencies, hospitals, nonprofit organizations and government. Healthcare accounts for a significant and rapidly growing segment of the U.S. economy. Students in the healthcare management program will acquire advanced knowledge of the dynamic business environment of healthcare while studying healthcare delivery, providers and their services, and financing. Students will gain an understanding of the significant roles healthcare executives have in improving the health of the communities their organizations serve as the program's curriculum prepares them to enter a variety of managerial positions at healthcare organizations such as hospitals, long-term care facilities and physician's offices. Students will experience an innovative education in the Center for Business Ingenuity, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and global software. Students will receive hands-on opportunities through internships and service-learning projects with local and national businesses, as well as through the unique collaboration between Gannon University's Dahlkemper School of Business, Small Business Development Center and Erie Technology Incubator.
