A four-year honours degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of studies such as mathematics, statistics, applied statistics, biostatistics, quantitative psychology, or any other discipline with a strong background in mathematics or statistics
A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (USask grade system equivalent) in the last two years of full-time study (e.g. 60 credit units USask equivalent).

The Department of Veterinary Pathology offers programs of postgraduate study in anatomic and clinical pathology leading to the following degrees: Master of Veterinary Science (M.Vet.Sc., two-year diagnostic training) which may be followed by the optional one-year Senior ResidencyMaster of Science (M.Sc., thesis)Master of Science with diagnostics (M.Sc., three-year thesis program)Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D., thesis)Excellent facilities for research and for disciplinary training in diagnostic veterinary pathology are available. Current research interests include:Pathogenesis of infectious diseasesMucosal immunityInnate immunity and disease resistanceOncologyViral oncogenesisHematologic disordersWildlife diseasesHoney beesSkeletal diseases.
