If your calling is to work with people experiencing physical, mental, emotional, or social disabilities, consider the clinical rehabilitation counseling master's degree program at Wright State University. Look forward to a rewarding career in counseling while being employed by a hospital, private practice, or government agency. Content for these courses is delivered remotely as well as in a traditional classroom setting. This CRC program was developed from the previously offered rehabilitation counseling/severe disabilities program. You can earn a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling (M.R.C.) degree. Your program of study will qualify you to sit for the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (C.R.C.) examination that is rehabilitation counseling's preeminent national credential. You can also sit for the National Counselor Examination (NCE), and become a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Ohio. Licensure and certification requirements vary from state to state, and we have not determined if this program meets educational requirements outside of Ohio. If you are planning to pursue professional licensure or certification in a state other than Ohio, please contact the appropriate licensing entity in that state to seek information and guidance regarding that state's licensure or certification requirements.
