The primary mission of the baccalaureate program in Rehabilitation Services is to prepare students to work with people with disabilities in a variety of settings in a wide range of positions. Students will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to assist individuals with disabilities to obtain and maintain meaningful employment, to live as independently as possible, to participate to the fullest extent possible in their communities, and to assume control of their lives.<br><br>With a degree in Rehabilitation services, employment can be found in many community-based rehabilitation programs, mental health centers, independent living, aging programs, and alcohol and substance abuse programs among others.
