Personal Support Workers (PSW) are important members of the health care team who assist persons with the tasks of daily living such as home management, personal care, family responsibilities, and social and recreational activities through a holistic approach. As a PSW, you will work with nurses and other health care professionals, assisting them with patient care. The PSW is also a vital part of community health care – and often the person who really makes someone's day when they need a smile the most. Confederation College's Personal Support Worker one-year certificate program will give you the skills you need to get into the workforce faster.
