International students – Submit your official post-secondary documents for assessment. International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS Academic Test) – minimum score of 6.0 on each test (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) – minimum test scores of 80 on the Internet-Based Test (TOEFL® iBT), 60 on the Paper-Delivered Test, or 550 on the Paper-Based Test.

To be eligible to re-register as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Nova Scotia, you are required to complete the Practical Nursing Re-entry to Practice program. This program is approved by College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Nova Scotia (CLPNNS). This program encompasses major health concepts: Anatomy, Physiology and Social Sciences. Courses include Professional Practice and Communication, Health Assessment of the Adult and Pharmacology and Administration of Medications. In addition to course work, you apply your skills in lab sessions and clinical placements.
