The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program prepares professional nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care to persons and families in all environments where health care is required. Graduates of the program are eligible and prepared to take the NCLEX-RN for licensure as a registered nurse. The School of Nursing and Allied Health is celebrating 67 years of providing excellent nursing education, with 3,679 graduates this year. It started as a department in 1952, 10 years after Fairleigh Dickinson University was founded. In 1993, the department was designated as School of Nursing and in 2019 as the School of Nursing and Allied Health. Since 2015 the School has offered programs at both the Metropolitan Campus and the Florham Campus of FDU.
