A post Master's Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate is available for individuals who hold a Masters degree in nursing from an accredited institution. The certificate programs allow nurses with a Master's degree to enter the program to prepare to function as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. The total credit hours required for the certificate program vary depending on the student's academic record, clinical experiences, and objectives. The certificate program is a minimum of 16 credit hours. Typically a student will complete 16 to 34 hours of course credit.
