The Nursing Science Program offers a four‑semester curriculum, which provides a balance of Liberal Arts, Sciences and Nursing. The nursing courses assist students in gaining the knowledge, attitudes, and skills essential to nursing practice in a variety of settings. Graduates of this program are prepared to take the NCLEX examination for licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (R.N.) Successful completion of the licensing examination qualifies the graduate to assume a beginning staff nurse position in a hospital/agency.
