UNC prepares nurses to make an impact, and will provide you with the skills and experience you need to earn a nursing license and excel in the profession. In our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, you'll learn from exceptional faculty and gain approximately 1,000 hours of clinical training, becoming part of a tight-knit community of teachers, students, practitioners and mentors. Our nursing degree program graduates earn outstanding scores on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), with first-time pass rates ranging between 95 and 100 percent. The program offers you an unusually broad range of clinical experiences, culminating in a 225-hour practicum that's tailored to your academic interests and career goals.
