The nursing administration curriculum is designed to prepare nurse administrators for working in fast-paced health care environments with acute, long-term, and community care orientations. Nurse administrators are also prepared for interacting in corporate health care business arenas. Course work includes managing financial resources with a focus on budgeting, productivity, analysis, costing services, forecasting volume, managed care contract negotiation, business plan development, and marketing.
