The Master of Public Health is an advanced program of study for students from various fields who are interested in a professional degree which will prepare them for practical work in a variety of public health practice settings. The goal of the program is to prepare graduates who are skilled in public health practice to contribute to promoting health and preventing illness and injury in their community.<br><br>The Faculty of Medicine supports a visiting speaker program, teaching assistant (TA) opportunities, internal awards and scholarships, administrative staff support and the Office of Research & Graduate Studies dedicated to medicine graduate student matters. The Health Sciences Library is located in the Health Sciences Centre, adjacent to the Faculty of Medicine.<br><br><br>The PopulationPublic Health stream involves courses and a capstone research project or practicum and can be completed in one year of full-time study.
