This program covers all the foundational areas of public health including policy, behavior, environment, epidemiology, biostatistics, planning, evaluation and research. The five-year combined degree is performed in association with the nationally accredited degree program in the Brown School of Social Work and Public Health. Matthew Kreuter, PhD, MPH, associate dean for public health and professor, and Amy Eyler, PhD, assistant dean for public health and assistant professor, are advisors for the program. The degree culminates in completion of an independent scholarly project and exam. Scholarships are available for covering additional tuition costs.
